Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  I love this time of year when the holiday season is ramping up!  My favorite part of today is seeing all the tiny humans in their Halloween best.  Seriously, I can't take the cuteness overload.  My granddaughter will be a monkey and she is so stinkin' cute it makes my heart hurt!

I know I haven't shared any projects in awhile.  I've said before, having a new baby in the house is crazy!  My lovely daughter is going to school full-time so I am caring for her amazing bundle of joy, but man oh man I forgot how much time that takes :)  On top of that I had minor surgery a few weeks ago and it's tough trying to do it all.

Today I'm going to share a couple of projects that I've done.  I usually only share one project at a time, but I'd like to share my Halloween projects before it's no longer Halloween :)

The first card is the ever popular Pop Up Panel Card.  I've seen it called other names, too, but this is the wording I used to find the video on YouTube.  Click here to see how it's done.

I did two versions of the front of the card.  I'd love to hear which version you like better.  I know which one I like the best!  I think the only thing I would have done differently on the inside is added a little color to my little vampire and perhaps a little Wink of Stella to my skeleton and mummy.  I love moving cards and this is by far one of my favorite cards that I've ever made.

My second card is my customer thank you for my customers who made August purchases.  I love these little mini cards.  They take one-quarter of a piece of cardstock and the finished size is 2-3/4" x 4-1/4".  They are so cute and super quick to make, but still pack a punch.

As you can tell, the Cookie Cutter Halloween set was my favorite.  I'm sad that life events got in the way of stamping and I didn't get to use my other "Halloween" sets, but I'm going to figure out a way to use them for everyday projects!  Where there's a will, there's a way.  And then there's Pinterest!

I hope you've enjoyed today's projects.  I will do my best to return to a regular posting schedule soon, although it probably won't be until after the Thanksgiving holiday.  My wonderful hubby, who works overseas at the moment, will be home and everything else gets put on hold so we can have quality family time!

July Customer Appreciation

I mentioned the other day that I have very little time to craft these days.  I do make time for my monthly swap and I absolutely make time for my customer appreciation cards!  I really like the card I made for July.  It is really simple, but I think it's a WOW just the same.

I was sad when the Itty Bitty Accents punches retired -- my go-to flower was in that set.  However, the Tree Builder has the perfect replacement for small flowers!!!

Love You Lots

I have to say that I'm not sure when my life will ever get back to "normal"!  Or perhaps the craziness that is currently my life is my new "normal".  My daughter has gone back to school full-time (although she is taking online courses) and I am now a full-time Nana.  I'm so proud of her for going back to school.  It's so important for her to complete her education so she can provide a good life for her daughter.  That being said, I forgot how much time it takes to look after a newborn!  I mean, really, all they do is eat, sleep and poo, right?  Well, our little love bug is awake more often than not these days, which means Nana does not have a lot of time to herself :)

I do make time to participate in my monthly swap, though!  For July, I decided to use as much new product from the 2016-2017 Idea Book & Catalog as I could.  I really love the Exclusive Host set Love You Lots located on Page 199.  It is so cute and whimsical, which is not usually my style, but I guess I've gotten a little "softer" since the birth of my sweet granddaughter.  I used a Mojo Monday Sketch, but wouldn't you know it, I cannot lay my hands on my printout!  If I find it, which I hope I do, I will update you with the sketch number.  Without further adieu:
