Sale-a-Bration Ends on March 31

Botanicals for You may just be my absolute favorite Sale-a-Bration stamp set this year.  I love the bold "just for you" sentiment that is easily a stand-alone focal point for any card.  The associated sentiments are perfect for any occasion as well.  Today I paired it with the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack.  I can't believe I've had this since the beginning of Sale-a-Bration and have never even cracked it open!  The designs on this vellum are absolutely stunning!  I took my Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Marina Mist, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Write Markers and colored in the images on the back side of the vellum.  I then attached it to a piece of Whisper White to make everything pop and created a gorgeous background paper.  I inked up my "just for you" image in Basic Black Archival Ink and stamped it in the center of the vellum.  Perfect!  All of this is attached to a card base of Wisteria Wonder.  I finished off my card with a panel of Whisper White on the inside with the stamped sentiment and the floral images from the stamp set.  I love how this card turned out!

You can get either (or both) the Botanicals for You and the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack FREE with a $50.00 purchase.  Don't miss out - Sale-a-Bration ends on March 31!!!

Thank you!

I don't know about all of you, but I always need thank you cards for something or other.  They actually might be my most "used" card.  I actually really love how this card turned out.  And I FINALLY broke out my Butterflies Thinlits.  LOVE this Thinlit die!  I used my Color Coach (I wish Stampin' Up! would bring this amazing tool back) for the color combo (Perfect Plum, Marina Mist and Rose Red).  I love how these colors go together so well.  I used my Curvy Trio Punch to add some interest to my card.  I really must use this punch more often!  Maybe I will now that all of my punches are stored in my stamp-n-storage Lock-Down Punch Holder on my countertop in plain view rather than tucked away in a drawer!

Just For You!

This little set was so easy and fun to create.  Since Sale-a-Bration is in full swing, I just had to showcase items from that catalog.  The Botanicals for you stamp is awesome as is the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper.  Please note that the Perfectly Artistic Designer Series Paper is only available until February 15!!!!  You really don't want to miss out on this gorgeous paper!  There are 12 of our wonderful colors in this Designer Series Paper.  The swirled design is one color and the water color design on the reverse side is a different color.  Your options are endless!

These cards are so simple, but still pack a punch.  The Designer Series Paper is the perfect background for the large Just for You focal image!  I just love how they turned out.  I hope you like them, too!

Hello Little Sunshine

For my January Customer Appreciation card I wanted to highlight one of the Limited Availability Sale-a-Bration items.  I absolutely love the Hello stamp set.  It is so versatile and fun!  I appreciate my customers so very much and my monthly appreciation card is the least I can do for them.  I always include a PDF so they can easily recreate the card if they would like.  The finished card is 3" x 5" (I must admit, I cut my card bases the same size as our Note Cards, which are 3-1/2" x 5", but I cut my layers incorrectly so I had to chop 1/2" off my card bases).  Isn't it adorable!

New Year, New Schedule

I want to thank you all for waiting patiently while I took my little break.  I got my hubby off to return overseas on Friday afternoon and took the weekend to recuperate from all the whirlwind fun we had during his 2-1/2 week stay.  It's always too short and goes by way too fast!

With the new year, I am going to try something a little different with my blog to see if I can be more consistent.  Being a full-time mom holding down a part-time job and trying to fit everything else in has been challenging.  Therefore, I am going to attempt to post projects on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  On Tuesdays I will post Stampin' Up!'s Weekly Deals.  I am trying my best to use up all of my retired product, so on Thursday's, I will be posting projects made with retired product that can easily be replaced with current product.  I will be calling this Throwback Thursday.  I will also post any promotions as they arise.

That being said, today is Monday, so here is a new project for you!  This is my Customer Appreciation Card for last month's purchases.  I try to get my cards out by the 5th of every month for customers who made purchases the prior month (this includes any My Paper Pumpkin subscribers)!  I was a bit late this month, but they did go out!

I saw this video by Dawn Griffith and decided this was what I wanted to use for my cards.  I am so thrilled with how it turned out!  And it uses items from the new Occasions Catalog as well as the Sale-a-Bration Catalog!  Please note that the FREE Designer Series Paper - Perfectly Artistic - is only available until February 15, 2016!!!  Get yours while you can!

Elementary Elegance

I thought I'd share a card using some of the items available to you for free with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-A-Bration!  This has to be my favorite time of the Stampin' Up! year ... even more so than the new catalog release each year.  I mean, really, who doesn't like free?  And if you have been on the fence about becoming a demonstrator, it's time to leap over it!  You can't beat the sign-up special going on during Sale-A-Bration!  The free Designer Series Paper/Digital Download alone makes it more than worth it!

On to today's card.  I am using two of the Sale-A-Bration products that are being offered this year.  If I didn't say it before, they are absolutely gorgeous!  The stamp set is the beautiful and appropriately named Elementary Elegance and the Designer Series Paper is the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.  Both are stunning and you won't want to miss out on the chance to get them for yourself!  Both can be yours absolutely free with a $100.00  purchase (before tax and shipping)!

I am totally in love with this card if I do say so myself!  And what do you think of my new watermark?  Don't you just love it?  I sure do.  Special thanks to Karen Giron for designing it for me!

UStamp Year End Blowout 2010 Project No. 2

My second project for UStamp has been posted.  I designed my first ever One Sheet Wonder.  A One Sheet Wonder is when you take one piece of Designer Series Paper (or create your own from card stock and stamps) and cut it into several pieces to create several cards.  I loved making this set!  I used the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper pack and Accessories Pack from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog.  It is really fun and bright!

Sale-a-Bration is coming quick!  Beginning January 25, for EVERY $50.00 (before tax/shipping) you purchase you will receive one Sale-a-Bration item ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!  It's my favorite time of year!  AND, if you are on the fence about joining the Stampin' Up Family Sale-a-Bration is a fantastic time to join!  The starter kit is 15% off -- $148.75 -- PLUS you will receive a $50.00 product bonus.  Feel free to contact me for more information.
