Once again I am privileged to design for Dawn at UStamp with Dawn and Friends.  I have created two projects for Technique Boutique, the first of which uses Wax Paper Resist.  This was so much fun to make!  I love to read and what better accompaniment for a good book than a good cuppa!

Spotlight on Christmas

I once again had the honor and the privilege to design for UStamp with Dawn and Friends.  This session is Heating up the Holidays and oh my, that title doesn't do justice to the projects that have been shared so far!  I design two projects per session as a Creative Crew Girl and my first project has posted so I can finally share it with you here!  I am really pleased with this project.  It was super fun to make and I hope you enjoy it.

Mini Monogram Bag Box Set

Instant Human ... Just Add Chocolate!

My second UStamp project has posted.  This was super fun to make!  I couldn't believe how easily it came together, either.  I had always wanted to make both the card and the 3D mug, but just thought it would be too difficult.  I was wrong :)

I am busy, busy, busy getting ready for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference and the Regional Conference that follows.  I have made 50 swaps so far and REALLY would like to add another 150 to it.  The conference starts Wednesday.  EEK!  Not sure if I can do it or not, but I'm definitely going to give it the old college try :)  I will try to post a few of my swaps between now and then, but if I don't get to it, you'll get to see them next week.

UStamp Group Swap

Yesterday I shared my Friend to Friend Swap for UStamp with you.  Today, I'm going to share my Group Swap.  This is a very clean and simple card.  It is extremely easy to reproduce!  In fact, it took me less than half an hour to make all six of my cards! 

I was running short on time and really needed a quick and simple card, so I headed over to Splitcoaststampers and took a look around.  When I saw this card, I knew it was the one!  So with a few minor changes, here's what I came up with.

Have You Been Boo-d?

My second project for UStamp with Dawn and Friends I Love the Holidays is one of my favorites!  It's a real toss-up for me as to which is my favorite holiday...Christmas or Halloween.  I love Christmas because our families come together and spend quality time together.  Halloween is so much fun because of all the cute costumes!  My favorites are the little bitty kiddos. 

I created this super adorable Boo Bucket that I just love.  And I'd like to think the recipient is going to love it, too!

Quilted Fabric Photo Ornament

If you've been reading my blog, then you know that I design for UStamp with Dawn and Friends.  I Heart the Holidays kicked off last Friday and the projects so far are FABULOUS!  Today, I get to share with you my first project. 

I've seen these quilted ornaments around for awhile and always thought they were gorgeous but must be very difficult to make.  Boy was I ever wrong!  This was so much fun to make.  I was really surprised at how quickly and easily it went together.  The picture of my kids makes this a perfect keepsake gift to give to their grandparents, don't you think? 

As usual, with every project you get the instructions to make a coordinating card and envelope.  I really wanted to make my card unique to the ornament and I think I managed to pull it off.  What do you think?

I {Heart} Swaps!

One of my favorite things to do as a stamper is to swap! I participate in a lot of demonstrator only swaps on Splitcoaststampers, but I've also recently begun swapping with my UStamp sisters!  A few rounds ago, Dawn began setting up two swaps per UStamp event -- one is a group swap and the other is a friend to friend swap.  For the group swap, we make six of one card and mail it to our Swap Skipper who then swaps the cards out with all those received and mails back six different cards to each participant.  Can I just say that there is so much incredible talent out there and I am blessed to be the recipient of some of that talent! 

The friend to friend swap is a little more detailed.  We each get paired up with another stamper.  A lot of times you get an international partner.  We then make a small 3D item along with a card and coordinating envelope for our partner.  This year, I was partnered with the super talented Jeannie!  Be sure to visit her blog and give her some love.  Here is the fabulous swap that Jeannie sent me!

For my project I chose to do a quilted card.

My mother-in-law makes the most amazing quilts.  Since I am not a quilter (or even a sewer for that matter), I figured why not do the next best thing and make a "paper" quilt!  There are so many amazing quilt patterns out there on the Internet -- the possibilities are endless.  Just change up your pattern and your colors and you will have a completely different look.

Swaps Rock!!

One of the many great things about UStamp is the swaps!  There is usually a Friend to Friend swap where we are paired up with another individual (typically from another country) and we each create a card and a small 3D item for one another.  There is also a group swap (I think it was 6+1) where we create 7 of the same cards and mail them all to our Swap Skipper who in turns swaps out the cards for 6 different cards and mails them back. 

I was lucky enough to be paired with Sharna Russell from New Zealand.  Be sure to visit her fantastic blog! 

Sharna made me the cutest swaps using the now retired Eat Chocolate Stamp set.  I love the card she made and the little tin is adorable and was filled with the most DELICIOUS chocolates!  She also sent me some other AMAZING sweets from NZ that my kids promptly devoured!  Thank you so much Sharna!
