For my project I chose to do a quilted card.
My mother-in-law makes the most amazing quilts. Since I am not a quilter (or even a sewer for that matter), I figured why not do the next best thing and make a "paper" quilt! There are so many amazing quilt patterns out there on the Internet -- the possibilities are endless. Just change up your pattern and your colors and you will have a completely different look.
As a Special Thank You for stopping by my blog I am giving away BLOG CANDY!! Please leave a comment about my project to be entered for a chance to win a FREE PASS to the next UStamp with Dawn and Friends!! session - I ♥ the Holidays!! I will randomly select a winner to be announced on Monday, so please check back to see if you are the lucky recipient. If you have already joined I ♥ the Holidays!! for the Special Party Pricing and you are selected as the winner, you will get a FREE Pass to the NEXT event after I ♥ the Holidays!! which will launch in the Fall.

Great idea! I have used this for scrapbook pages, but never applied it to a card! Very pretty! TFS!
I have been wanting to try a quilted card. Thanks for the inspiration. Nancy P
I love your card, I haven't done any quilting yet either but would love to try both.
Jamie, I love your quilt card. You chose a great DSP to work with to give it that quilt look.
Jamie, now that is my kind of 'quilting'!! Love you card & DSP that you used. Thanks for sharing. Marsha

What a pretty card. Paper scraps to work of art. Love it!
I am not a sewer either but love the idea of a paper quilt.
I'm with you Jamie--just give me the paper and let me quilt! Thanks for sharing your lovely card!
Beautiful quilt card. I like the way you lined up the blues ... looks like a cross. Thanks for sharing.
Great way to use those small pieces of DSP. I am a beginner quilter and love it, but the paper quilting definitely gives faster satisfaction. Thanks for sharing and the chance for blog candy!

I sew, but I don't quilt - this gives me the perfect opportunity to become a paper qilter!
What a great card. This looks fantastic.
love this, the quilting is awesome
Quilts are a great way of inspiring new designs for cards...they also make great gift sets for quilters who don't have time to make their own cards to give away because they are busy quilting!
What a fantastic card. Your quilting looks great.
Beautiful ... love the quilting and the ruffled ribbon ... such a lovely look ...
Well done!!!
Fabulous card, Jamie! You can't beat scrunchy ribbon! Woo hoo!

Thanks for another wonderful quilt card idea! I am in your same boat, my MIL is a fabulous quilter and I can hardly sew a button back on. So I do lots of these for her, lot the idea of cutting the squares into triangles....see, that is why I don't quilt. duh!
